We specialize in basic and advanced obedience, puppy imprinting, behavior modification, e-collar training, personal protection training, leash-based training, and tracking. A.T. Canine provides services to civilians as well as local and state law enforcement agencies. We take pride in establishing strong bonds between canines and their handlers, and enjoy watching these teams achieve their training goals. A.T. Tanner LibertFounder & Trainer
Tanner has years of experience working with and training civilian and local law enforcement handlers and their canines. He has been involved in K9 obedience, behavior modification, and other training activities since a young age, and has devoted years to personally studying K9 behavior and various training methods. Tanner has worked with and learned from some of the top trainers in the area, and his passion and talent for dog training has only grown stronger over the years. He decided to share his knowledge and experience with others by establishing A.T. Canine in March 2019. |
Joel CallicoatTrainer
Joel, who owns K9 Callicoat, has more than 13 years of training experience. He started his dog training career in 2008 working with German Shepherds. After many years, Joel took up an apprenticeship learning how to imprint dogs on different types of scent. Ever since, he as trained a variety of different K9s, including aggressive dogs, on general obedience work, behavior modification, and tracking. Joel has also trained with police dogs on e-collar and imprinting on narcotics and explosives, along with focusing on apprehension, search and rescue, and dual purpose K9s. In 2019, Joel began collaborating with Queen City Bulldog Rescue to provide behavioral training for dogs up for adoption. He currently focuses on the rescue's PTSD Service Dog Program. Joel owns five dogs, with three being trained in narcotics detection, search and rescue, and protection. |
